Mash Notes
Added half of DME to cold water when DME was completely disolved, added cracked grains and set temp to medium for 15 minutes Increased heat to 155, covered pot and turned burner off. Set timer for 30 minutes. Heat climbed to about 160 during steep, and finished at 152. Increased heat to boil. Had very slight boilover (carelessness. Was rinsing a carboy and not paying attention.) Added all hop additions in hop bags. Added last of the DME and immersion chiller at 15 minutes to flameout. The house was pretty warm, and I didn't have enough ice for the prechiller. I couldn't chill the wort below 80 degrees.

Fermentation Notes
Pitched yeast at 80, set inside fridge set at 68. Checked fermentation at about 8am the following day (about 20 hrs into fermentation) and it has filled headspace and filled the airlock. Removed airlock and attached a blowoff tube. Rechecked 6 days later, and still seeing bubbles in airlock every 30 seconds or so.

Tasting Notes
Tasted as I racked to the keg. It's got more body than I'd expect from a 1.011 gravity, and a very noticable hop bite.

Problem Notes
OG was a bit low. Measured 1.042, adjusted for heat was 1.045. Barely within BJCP guidelines. This is going to be a little beer. Next time, I'll add another lb of DME.
